About Us
Here at the UK International Airports website we are keen to promote the use of the UK’s international airports, specifically those outside London. The key to this is convincing the major international airlines that sufficient demand exists at these airports to base their planes there. To date when new routes have been established at other airports flight prices have tended to be higher which rather defeats the object.
Including Luton airport, the four London Airports currently account for 60 % of UK passenger traffic which does not reflect the catchment area and means the public have to travel greater distances. Moreover, it would make sense to expand other airports that already have the capacity rather than continue to squeeze bolt on resources to these already busy airports.
